Ballot Box Sim — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Ballot Box Sim ("the app," "we," "us") is a non-partisan political campaign strategy game.
This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we store the sign-in
identifier you provide (email address, or a Google/Apple account identifier, or an anonymous
guest ID). We do not store your password — sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Game progress. Your in-game career, achievements, and settings are saved to
your device and, if you are signed in, synced to your private record in Google Firestore so it
follows you across devices.
- Advertising data. If ads are shown, Google AdMob may access device
identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can play with non-personalized ads, and a one-time
"Remove Ads" purchase turns ads off entirely.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple/Google. We only receive
whether a purchase was made — never your payment details.
How we use it
To provide the game, save and sync your progress, show and measure ads (unless removed), and
keep the app working. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
- Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) — privacy
- Google AdMob (advertising) — privacy
- Apple / Google (in-app purchases)
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all cloud-saved data at any time from
Account → Delete Account inside the app. This removes your record from our systems.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from them.
